In a perfect location a few metres from the water, a few minutes from all communications and in the middle of the city’s business life, a unique wooden landmark is being built. A smart building that lights up Gothenburg with 30,000 square metres in a way you have never seen before.

Kaj 16 is smart in several ways, here are a few examples; The frame and facade in hardwood with many years of durability contribute to a pleasant and personal appearance as well as a nice indoor environment. The building is constructed with a high degree of recycled materials, for example, ten thousand tonnes of concrete have been recycled and form the ballast in the building’s foundation. Digital technology and operating solutions ensure sustainable operation and a comfortable indoor environment. The building’s creative solutions with direct access between Hisingsbron and the quayside invites and creates a flow. The building’s design also creates lovely sightlines and allows daylight to flow into the premises, and the entrance floor will have plenty of communal areas filled with meeting rooms, food, drink and services for both tenants and visitors.
